As with any technology, determining when is the time to upgrade is a tough balance to figure out. To move on to your next piece of equipment, though, a great piece of advice is to “hold on loosely.”

For churches with limited budgets, deciding on the next video camera or cameras can be daunting, with all the options and features available on cameras today. Even for churches that might not be directly streaming to 4K, deciding to go with a 4K video camera can be beneficial for the long-term in how well cropped footage in video can be used in future projects.

As challenging as it might be to decide on the right video camera for your church, also don’t ignore finding the right storage solution to be able to archive your footage in a feasible manner.
